Fairy Dust Diaries - 11th October 2026

 TV: The Twilight Saga

This may contain: the twilight movie poster with snow covered mountains and trees in the background, as seen from above

SPOILERS AHEAD! I watched this for the first time at the age of 12/13 and had absolutely no idea what was going on and havent watched it since until now - just finished the 3rd film and onto the 4th. Are wolves actually that big? Because that's HORRIFYING. Also #teamedward so far. Jacob is too annoying. I quite like Charlie and Carlisle's characters as well as Alice. I love the greenish-blue lighting in this film. I think it makes it feel quite autumnal. Gloomy weather for the win always. Bella is still human, so let's see how that changes...

BOOK: Brain Damage by Freida McFadden

Brain Damage: A twisted psychological thriller that will keep you guessing eBook : McFadden, Freida: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store

SPOILERS AHEAD! So I'm in the middle of this book, and it's okay so far - Charlotte is a dermatologist who lives in Central Park NYC and was shot in the head. She is now in a hospital and cannot remember a lot about her life but gradually has been recalling more and more. She is also unable to move one of her arms as she's paralysed. Her husband has been lying to her as we go back and forth in the timeline and there are a couple of people who could be suspects. She doesn't remember who shot her. Knowing Frieda, it will be someone completely unexpected. I hope it wasn't her mom? She's a character that keeps coming back. It's probably not her husband or the guy who is stalking her either. Maybe it's a woman? Perhaps one of her clients... I do want to find out, though, so let's just keep reading.

CD: evermore by Taylor Swift

This is such a beautiful album, and I love that it starts with Willow - it's the perfect CD for feeling cozy in the fall. I love how the guitar sounds across this album, and some songs that I LOVE on this CD are Cowboy Like Me, Champagne Problems, No Body, No Crime (I listened to this on loop while reading The Housemaid's Secret, and it was so similar to the book's storyline I got chills), and Right Where You Left Me. My favourites are defo Right Where You Left Me and Willow.

RECIPE: Sweet Potato Schnitzel Bowl

This was so so delicious - Steamed sweet potatoes, topped with some Spanish-style grains, pieces of vegan schnitzel and finally feta cheese. A side of cucumber sticks and hummus. Oregano, garlic powder, salt, and chilli flakes with a tiny bit of lemon juice.

SHOPPING: Victoria's Secret Lip Glosses

This is an ADDICTION, I'm afraid. I love these lip glosses and their flavours. I have another flavour (Almond Croissant) on the way - I love collecting them and matching them to my outfits. When I was young, I used to go to my mom's makeup drawer, try her Victoria's Secret lip glosses, and LOVED THEM. I used to think about how I would get my own lip glosses when I was old enough, and bought these for my younger self who waited SO LONG :) Currently wearing cinnamon bun and it smells very cinammony.

DREAM DESTINATION: Greece

I want to explore the Greek islands, especially Skopelos as that was one of Mamma Mia's filming locations. It looks so dreamy in the film. I also want to explore other places like Milos, Athens, and Santorini.

FEELING: Calm and Cozy

THOUGHT: Why did Apple choose an apple logo?
